Coming from Vienna/Graz/Linz:
Highway A9 direction Liezen – exit Liezen/Schladming – follow the main road B320 to Schladming – in Schladming take the exit to Ramsau – turn left towards Ramsau, then turn right (just before the sharp left turn) and follow the streets uphill (Leitenstraße and Obere Leitenstraße) until you reach the bus stop “Almfrieden”. Now turn right, keep to your right and follow the road until you arrive at Mountain Hostel.
Coming from Salzburg/Villach:
Highway A10 – take the exit towards Graz/Radstadt/Schladming and follow the main road B320 until Schladming – in Schladming take the exit to Ramsau – turn left towards Ramsau, then turn right (just before the sharp left turn) and follow the streets uphill (Leitenstraße and Obere Leitenstraße) until you reach the bus stop “Almfrieden”. Now turn right, keep to your right, and follow the road until you arrive at Mountain Hostel.
The nearest train station is in Schladming. From there you can take a public bus (bus stop Almfrieden, 10 minutes’ walk) or taxi (12 minutes’ drive, 7 Kilometer) to Mountain Hostel.
The nearest airport is in Salzburg, about 90 km away. From there, we suggest catching a train to Schladming, then taking a public bus or taxi to Ramsau.
The airport in Vienna is about 140 km away. Directly from the airport you can catch the train to Schladming, and from there the public bus or taxi to Ramsau.
